In this case, we represented a hard-working New Yorker, a single Mom in her 50s who made her career as a certified nurse’s aide before suffering serious injuries in a highway collision with a garbage truck. Over years of litigation, the garbage truck company and their insurance company blamed our client for the crash and denied her claims. We took the case to trial and in dramatic courtroom testimony showed the jury that the truck driver was untruthful about how he operated the truck. Faced with this damaging evidence, the insurance company immediately changed course and tendered its entire policy to settle the case, vindicating our client and bringing her well-deserved closure. The case shows how we fight for the little guy against big corporate interests and meticulously prepare cases for success a trial.
